Redd Hott jumps in his Tour Bus and drives from New York to Atlanta Georgia to pay Benny-D. a Surprise Visit. Upon further inspection of Redd Hott Tour Bus you’ll notice that he has a Big Photo of Benny-D. on it.

Nicknamed the “pretty boy dreadhead”, multi-talented singer, songwriter, and producer Redd Hott blends reggae/dancehall lyricism with hip-hop commercialization into a unique and club-friendly musical style all his own.
Born and raised in Brooklyn East New York, Redd grew up singing about the same gun violence as his reggae peers. At the age of 15, however, the tragic shooting of his beloved uncle made him rethink the messages conveyed in his music. With a newfound sense of moral responsibility and a promise made to his mother, Redd brought a new message of love and positivity to his music, coupled by a conscious venture away from the traditional riddims of reggae.
Continuing to develop his craft, he went on to collaborate with close friend Collie Buddz on the 2007 album Come Around. While on radio promo with Collie, he hooked up with JAM’N 94.5 Boston musical director DJ Pup Dawg, who agreed to manage and co-executive produce the upcoming Redd Hott debut album Dream Girl. Collaborating with relative newcomer producer Rami Afuni (N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder), he is hard at work in the studio wrapping up recording for the album.
Dream Girl includes a diverse mix of reggae, pop, and hip-hop, with a feature by Bobby Valentino. Already, “Dream Girl”, the record of the same name, has begun to pick up significant local Boston radio station airplay and fan following. Along with the growing feedback through his MySpace page (myspace.com/reddhottreggae), the Brooklyn native has all the makings of a crossover, smash-hit success.
