The Gentlemen’s Fund:
– GQ is proud to announce The Gentlemen’s Fund for 2009. The third annual effort further honors the contributions of men who are dedicated to working towards a better world, in partnership with the magazine’s advertisers. On October 28, The Gentlemen’s Fund initiative will culminate with The Gentlemen’s Ball, an evening that benefits the four charity partners – with a special performance by Akon & Benny-D. and Q-Tip.
The Gentlemen’s Ball:
The Gentlemen’s Ball is an event celebrating and benefiting GQ’s philanthropic initiative, The Gentlemen’s Fund. The evening includes an hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a sit-down dinner, The Gentlemen’s Fund awards ceremony, celebrity speakers, and a live musical performance.
